GI bleeding (1) PPP X OGD

GI BLEEDING = gastrointestinal bleeding

細分: upper GI bleeding / Lower GI bleeding

UGIB : usually esophageal, gastric, duodenum

LGIB:  usually PR Bleeding

Workup:

UGIB: OGD

LGIB: Colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy

PPP x OGD:

因有局部麻醉藥, 喉由口入

因此要問: allergic history, denture/loose teeth, last food/drink (Fast after mid night/breakfast 是常識吧?)

再問有無傳染病 eg MRSA, VRE..保障員工安全

嚴重出血最好有type and screen, clotting profile, CBP

Property 要全部除掉, 以免有機會做做下入OT.....

Pacemaker, contact lens 之類要問清楚有無..一樣為FOR OT
